Dear Pension Professional:
For decades, SunGard’s Advanced Pension Conference (APC) has provided quality professional education to pension practitioners. With up-to-the-minute analysis of current developments, and in-depth presentations on the thorny issues that plague the retirement landscape, APC brings the information and understanding you need to keep abreast.
One of the hallmarks of APC has been quality faculty members, and this year’s conference, January 28-30, is no exception. Our speakers are among the best known and respected in the industry, including Ilene Ferenczy, Tom Finnegan, Robert Kaplan, Professor David Pratt, Robert Richter, David Schultz, and the host of the conference, Derrin Watson. Attendees have praised the accessibility of the speakers at the conference, with many opportunities to find answers to your questions, or get help with a problem area.
Ilene and Derrin’s popular Keeping Current presentation opens the conference, with a complete run down of developments in the pension world in the last year. It will be followed by a discussion of problems and new requirements associated with lost or uncooperative participants. Other general sessions include a Washington Update (with a look at what lies ahead with the new Congress), and our popular Ask the Experts and Pension Jeopardy sessions. But an important key to APC is our many breakout sessions, giving you an opportunity to tailor the conference to your needs. Here are just some of the topics at the upcoming conference:
We are also bringing back our Just for ERPAs Workshop, a one-day program conveniently scheduled on Tuesday, January 27, the day before the APC. This Workshop will help ERPAs build on their broad retirement plan knowledge with topics specially selected for them. Earn up to 8 hours of ERPA credit, including 2 Ethics hours. Register for both the APC and the ERPA Workshop, and pay only $250 for the Workshop, a $160 saving. To take advantage of this offer, you must use the APC online registration form. To view the Workshop complete agenda and to register online, visit the Web site.
This year’s conference will be at a new property for us, a little south of Orlando. Loews Don CeSar Hotel, the Pink Palace, provides a beautiful and relaxing destination on St. Pete Beach in Florida. Bring the family and enjoy the large spa, or the pristine beach and exceptional dining, makes the Don CeSar a great location for a getaway while you’re at the conference.
We look forward to seeing you at the conference!
