The professional educators at SunGard are joining forces with the Ferenczy Benefits Law Center, LLP, based in Atlanta and Knoxville, to bring you their second annual conference: Pensions on Peachtree (formerly the Southern Retirement Plan Conference).

The conference combines the quality continuing professional education for which SunGard is known with the intimacy of a regional conference, and the fun of a barbecue at the Ferenczy home. There will be eight breakout sessions, so you can tailor your education to your needs, along with general presentations on current developments, plan design, plan corrections, and ethics. This year we are adding an "Ask the Oracles" session so you can get answers to your tough questions.

Attendees can also receive up to 15 hours (50 minutes per hour) of continuing education credits, including 2 Ethics hours. Whatever you are looking for in retirement plan professional education, you will find it at Pensions on Peachtree.

Topics include:

  • Plan amendments
  • Mergers and acquisitions
  • Good communication
  • After-tax contribution strategies
  • Working with takeover plans
  • Potentially dangerous plan provision
  • Interactive sessions on EPCRS and plan design
  • Ethics and professional responsibility
