- Do you know what the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) is?
- Do you have a thorough understanding of these regulations?
- Do you know that most health plans must be in compliance with the HIPAA Privacy regulations by April 2003?
- Do you know that your health plan is defined as a covered entity by the HIPAA Privacy regulations?
- Have you begun the compliance process? If not, when do you expect to begin?
- If you have begun the compliance process, have you identified the gaps? Do you know how to implement the changes needed when these gaps are identified?
- Will a firm be assisting you in Privacy compliance? If yes, what type of firm?
- How much have you budgeted for compliance?
- What is the most important compliance service for your firm?
