Fundamentals 02: Highly Compensated Employees and the Coverage Test

The Code has two ways of referring to employees. They can be Highly Compensated Employees (HCEs) or non-HCEs. The HCE definition can be difficult. But understanding this definition is essential to perform any coverage, ADP, ACP, and nondiscrimination test. This program gives you a detailed look at this vital definition.

It is easy to understand the importance of coverage testing. A qualified plan must pass coverage testing every year to remain qualified. This program takes you back to the basics to give you a thorough review of the frequently misunderstood aspects of coverage testing. This presentation, rich with examples, shows you the issues you need to understand to make sure plans are not violating the crucial coverage rules.
