EPCRS 2013 completely revamped the VCP system, introducing two new mandatory forms and revising several existing appendices and schedules. This Web seminar walks you through the new filing procedures, which become mandatory April 1, 2013.

Our focus is on streamlined VCP filings, which remain simple enough to do without legal counsel, but we will also show you how to file in more complex situations. We also provide attendees with sample forms illustrating several common corrections.

• What you can correct through streamlined VCP and what you can’t
• Revised procedures for handling document failures, including 403(b) failures
• Forms 8950 and 8951
• What additional items must be included
• Issues not covered by the forms
• Streamlined VCP vs. self-correction

Objectives: After this program, attendees should be able to:

1. Identify those defects which streamlined VCP can correct.
2. Explain why one would choose streamlined VCP rather than self-correct certain failures.
3. Complete the appropriate forms for a VCP application.

• Internet Explorer 4.01 or later, Netscape 4.08 or later, and set Internet browser to allow pop-up windows.
