The transition from paper filing to electronic filing has been every bit as difficult as many commentators predicted, and more. Understanding the filing procedures is as important as the information being transmitted to the DOL. Any variation from the unforgiving procedures will result in a filing status of “filing error” or “filing stopped,” or worse yet: filing unprocessable.
