Corbel - SunGard Corbel 2000
Corbel joins company-wide corporate branding coordination with parent company by changing company name to SunGard Corbel.

Corbel - 1999
Corbel experiences growth spurt through SunGard's acquisition of Financial Data Planning (FDP) and PEAK 1 Resources. Both newly obtained companies now report to Corbel, a SunGard Company. FDP develops application software for employee benefit administrators, while PEAK 1 is the leading developer of government forms software.

Corbel - 1998
Pension Publications Of Denver (PPD) joins Corbel - PPD, a division of Corbel, has published IRS-approved IRA, 457 and master/prototype plans since 1976. PPD's publications are used in all 50 states by attorneys, accountants, trust officers, pension, financial, and employee benefit consultants, and life underwriters. PPD ERISA seminars and workshops are noted for their practical orientation toward the retirement plan problems which confront employers, plan administrators, and practitioners. PPD is the nation's leader in the publication of ERISA-related practitioner aids.

Corbel - 1996
Corbel became an independent subsidiary of SunGard® Data Systems Inc. , a one billion plus publicly traded company (NYSE: SDS). SunGard specializes in providing computer services and software to the financial services industry and to many Fortune 1000 companies. Corbel reports to its Employee Benefits Systems (EBS) division, based in Birmingham, Alabama. EBS markets pension administration systems primarily to the financial services marketplace.

Corbel acquired EBG & Associates, Inc., a software developer and provider of services to employee benefits professionals in 1994.

Corbel - 1993
Corbel became an independent subsidiary of Broadway & Seymour, Inc., an information technology company providing services and product solutions to over 1,000 banks and other clients.

Corbel - 1989
Corbel acquired Pentabs, the oldest and most successful firm in developing PC-based plan administration software for the employee benefits industry.

Corbel was founded in 1974.
